An Unexpected Adventure Near Upington

While driving through the beautiful stretch between Springbok and Kathu, just as we were exiting Upington, we ran into an unexpected hiccup – our car refused to start! It was one of those moments where you feel completely stranded, surrounded by endless landscapes but with nowhere to go. We were stuck and unsure of what to do next.

As we were figuring out our options, a friendly face appeared out of nowhere—Freddie Stolper! With a smile and an incredibly helpful attitude, he jumped right in to assist us without a second thought. Freddie’s kindness and calm presence made the whole situation feel a little less daunting. He worked his magic and before we knew it, the car was up and running again!

What could have been a stressful day turned into a heartwarming experience, all thanks to Freddie. We’ll always remember the kindness of this generous stranger who helped us get back on track, proving once again that even in unexpected moments, there are good people out there ready to lend a hand.

Next time we pass through Upington, we’ll be thinking of Freddie Stolper and the impromptu adventure that led us to cross paths!
